About the Role
As a Valet Parking Attendant at the Jesse Brown Veteran Hospital in Chicago, you will be the first point of contact for our Veteran patients. Your role is vital in creating a welcoming and accessible environment. You will greet customers professionally, assist them with mobility aids such as wheelchairs or walkers, and provide clear directions. Beyond customer service, you will be responsible for the safe operation of various vehicle types, performing access control, and meticulously inspecting vehicles for damage to ensure their security. This position requires you to work independently while adhering to strict VA regulations and safety protocols, often standing for extended periods and working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Hiring Process
Candidates selected for this role will undergo a comprehensive pre-employment screening, including a criminal background check, DMV verification, and a drug screen. Successful applicants will be expected to report to duty in a company-issued uniform, maintaining a professional appearance at all times.
