The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Mount Sinai South Nassau is a vibrant academic center on Long Island, New York, consisting of over 40 full-time and voluntary board-certified physicians. As part of the Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, the department leverages the resources of a major academic and research medical center. With over 2,400 deliveries annually, the department supports a robust educational mission, including a four-year residency program for 16 residents and active teaching for third-year medical students. All OB/GYN sub-specialties are represented within the department.
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Urogynecologist to join our team and provide consistent, compassionate, and patient-centric care. This role is designed for a physician who embraces the teaching mission of Mount Sinai South Nassau and possesses strong interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills. The successful candidate will partner with world-renowned colleagues at the Icahn School of Medicine to deliver high-quality, safe care tailored to each patient's needs.
In this position, you will work within a collaborative health system, engaging with a variety of specialists to ensure the best outcomes for patients. You will be integral to the training of Urogynecology fellows and residents, contributing to the department's commitment to advancing the field through research and education.
Candidates must possess or be able to obtain a valid New York State Medical License. The application process involves reviewing qualifications for Board Certification or Eligibility in Obstetrics & Gynecology and Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery, as well as successful completion of a relevant fellowship.
