About the Role
Thunderhawk Technology Partners LLC is seeking an experienced Unix / HP-UX Administrator to join our client's team for a 6-month engagement. This role is critical for maintaining the stability and performance of a complex enterprise infrastructure, specifically focusing on HP-UX environments and virtualization stacks.
In this position, you will serve as the primary technical resource for the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of Client-UX/Linux operating systems and related peripheral hardware. You will be responsible for optimizing the HPVM virtualization stack and managing enterprise SAN environments, including fiber switches and various storage configurations. A key aspect of this role involves monitoring system problems using advanced testing tools and ensuring the availability of storage resources through usage analysis and performance reporting.
Beyond technical execution, success in this role requires strong communication skills. You will be working directly within a customer environment, managing expectations and collaborating effectively to resolve issues related to Service Guard Software and HPE C7000 chassis with Itanium blades.
