This position serves as the frontline ambassador for M&T Bank's branch customer experience, specializing in sales, service, and digital engagement for both Consumer and Business Banking clients. As a Teller, you will support daily branch operations while acting as a key driver of sales and customer satisfaction. The role is designed for individuals who can seamlessly transition between processing transactions, managing the lobby, and identifying opportunities to solve complex banking needs.
In this capacity, you will hold scheduled and walk-in appointments to understand customer goals, offering tailored advice on banking solutions and encouraging the adoption of digital tools. You will serve as a critical link between customers and the broader bank, referring complex needs to specialized partners while ensuring a differentiated, empathetic experience in every interaction. The role requires adaptability, allowing you to function in multiple capacities—from new account openings and loan origination support to problem resolution and transaction processing.
