We rely on and trust our Unit Manager (LPN) to provide independent supervision of the delivery of care to a group of residents in a nursing unit. In this role, you will assess resident needs, develop individual care plans, administer nursing care, and evaluate outcomes. You will serve as a leader for Nurses, Care Specialists (CNAs), and other personnel, potentially supervising other RNs as well.
Your focus will be on assuring effective, outcome-focused quality nursing care through the utilization of the nursing process. You will collaborate with the resident, responsible party, and the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement individualized plans of care. By working closely with physicians and other health care professionals, you will share relevant information to adjust care plans as needed, ensuring resident-centered outcomes and efficient resource utilization.
