As an Underwriter III within PNC's Commercial Real Estate organization, you will be based in the posted locations and work independently with little or no oversight. You will exercise elevated approval authority, preparing loan offerings for transactions of any complexity and managing assigned portfolios. This role serves as a subject matter expert for specific asset classes, requiring you to interact with internal and external customers to gather information, clarify inconsistencies, and provide recommendations for credit structuring.
You will use independent judgment to identify risks and mitigants, preparing offerings and scorecards by analyzing credit, collateral strength, and the financial worthiness of loan parties. The role involves ongoing credit risk management, potential coaching of other underwriters, and filling in for management as required. Success in this position requires a customer-focused approach that aligns business decisions with customer needs, as well as a commitment to managing risk within PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
