About the Role
As an Ultrasound Technologist, you will be a vital caregiver, performing ultrasound examinations under the direction of a physician to identify abnormalities leading to patient diagnosis. This role is defined by your commitment to excellent customer service, ensuring patient comfort, and providing appropriate education throughout the care journey.
You will work within a collaborative team, assisting and instructing students and other Radiology Technologists in exam protocols, procedures, and positioning. Your day-to-day involves operating complex equipment with precision, reviewing images for quality and accuracy, and maintaining meticulous records of patient information and procedures. You will be the face of our department, managing interactions with patients, visitors, and care providers, often navigating busy rooms and responding quickly during emergency situations.
Work Schedule
This position operates on a Monday through Saturday schedule. Shifts are 10 and 12 hours, with rotational call required for weekends, evenings, and holidays.
