About the Role
As a Captain with 41°ree; North Offshore, you are responsible for the safe and efficient operation of a tugboat and its crew during towing, docking, ship assist, and marine transportation operations. You will oversee all onboard activities, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations while maintaining the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and environmental stewardship.
In this role, you will lead and supervise all onboard personnel, ensuring proper training and effective coordination of daily tasks. You will direct routine vessel maintenance and inspections to ensure the tug remains operationally ready. Your day will involve coordinating with port authorities, dispatchers, pilots, customers, and marine contractors to ensure safe and efficient operations. You will also be expected to respond decisively to emergency situations and maintain accurate vessel logs and regulatory documentation.
