About the Role

As a Full-time Local Class B CDL Truck Driver, you will drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. Your primary mission is loading and unloading crates of groceries at grocery stores, ensuring timely delivery for our partners.

This role offers a unique opportunity to be on the move with a stable, nationwide company known for having the best equipment, great management, clear communication, and a fantastic safety record. You will be home daily, with a schedule that varies based on coverage needs. As a floater, you will typically be dispatched between 10 PM and 11 PM, operating within a 24/7 environment.

Hiring Process

To join the team, candidates must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, which includes a review of past employment, education, and criminal history, as well as a drug screening. The process also requires verification of a valid Class B CDL with an Airbrake endorsement, a non-excepted interstate DOT medical card, and a clean DMV/MVR record (two or fewer moving violations or accidents in the last 3 years).
