About the Role
As a Full-time Local Class B Delivery Truck Driver, you will join a team of professionals committed to delivering products safely and on time. You will drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. Your route will involve performing multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships, typically covering 12 stops plus one transfer. You will unload trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, utilizing scanners to track products as they are delivered.
This role offers a dedicated route with home daily, allowing you to build relationships with your accounts while enjoying a stable schedule from Tuesday through Saturday with a 1:00 AM dispatch. You will be on the move with Penske, and so will your career, with access to tons of training opportunities and the ability to relocate to new cities across the nation. Hiring Process
To join the team, you must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, which includes past employment, education, and criminal history, as well as a drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive; therefore, the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required. Associates must have the ability to accept responsibility for their own safety, as well as the safety of others.
