About the Role
As a Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort. These vehicles feature inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to ensure safety for all. Your primary mission is to deliver palletized groceries to local grocery stores, with no pallet breakdown required.
This role offers a 4-day work week with a PM start time, allowing for daily home time. Multiple schedules are available, and an additional $200 incentive is offered for working an extra day. You will be on the move with Penske, and so will your career; the company offers tons of training opportunities and locations across the nation, allowing you to move to a new city if desired.
Hiring Process
To join the team, candidates must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, which includes past employment, education, and criminal history, as well as a drug screening. The position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and requires the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
