Penske Logistics engineers state-of-the-art transportation, warehousing, and freight management solutions that deliver powerful business results for market-leading companies. With operations spanning North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske and its associates help businesses move forward by increasing visibility and driving down supply-chain costs. We are more than just yellow trucks; we are a team of professional drivers committed to delivering products safely and on time for some of the world's leading brands.
As a Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. This role is designed for drivers who value consistency and community, offering a local schedule with daily home time. You will represent both Penske and your clients, often driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms, which requires a high standard of customer service and relationship building.
Your day-to-day involves managing a route of approximately five stops. You will unload trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, while utilizing scanners to track products as they are delivered. You will drive late-model Penske-maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class specs for comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras.
Joining Penske means joining a stable, nationwide company known for excellent equipment, great management, clear communication, and a fantastic safety record. We offer a 5-day evening dispatch schedule, averaging 49 to 50 hours per week. Beyond the road, you will have access to tons of training opportunities and the ability to move to a new city as your career grows. We pay every Friday and are proud to offer a premier driver recognition program and safety incentives.
To join our team, you must complete the Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and undergo a drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive, requiring the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
