About the Role
Ready to put your truck-driving career in high gear? As a Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will join a team of professionals committed to delivering products safely and on time. You will shuttle auto parts to distribution centers, averaging 10 stops per week. This role involves driving late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks, which are designed with best-in-class specs for comfort. You will interact with customers, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor while representing both Penske and your clients, often driving their branded trucks and wearing their uniforms.

Day in the Life
You will drive a local route, typically returning home daily. Dispatch times will vary based on shift bids, and as a floater, your days may vary based on coverage needs. The operation runs 24/7, requiring flexibility to meet the demands of the schedule. You will be responsible for maintaining a constant state of alertness and working in a safe manner, accepting responsibility for your own safety as well as the safety of others.
Hiring Process
To join the team, you must complete the Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and undergo a drug screening. The position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive.
