Harpers is actively seeking business-minded partners to join its lease purchase program. By teaming up with one of the country's largest carriers, Harpers provides its contractor partners access to an expansive nationwide freight network. The program is designed to offer the benefits of a mega-carrier while maintaining the atmosphere of a small fleet, allowing drivers to focus on managing their own business and transitioning into truck ownership.
About the Role
This opportunity is tailored for Owner Operators and Lease Purchase Drivers seeking to expand their business without the traditional barriers of entry. The role focuses on providing 100% refrigerated freight within an expansive customer network, ensuring consistent work without reliance on brokered freight. Drivers will be supported by a dedicated fleet manager to keep them loaded and have access to a 24/7 dispatch system.
The program utilizes 2023–2026 model automatic trucks and allows drivers to utilize customer trailers with no rental fees. The structure is designed to be transparent, with all costs outlined upfront and no hidden fees, offering a clear path to ownership with a $1 balloon payment option.
Hiring Process
All driver records are reviewed individually. Candidates must hold a current CDL-A license with a minimum of two years of experience and OTR background. Applicants must have no more than three moving violations or two preventable accidents in the last three years to qualify for the program.
