About the Role
Ryder is seeking a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Rancho Cordova, CA, to join a community of proud women and men in logistics. This position offers a local, home-daily route delivering palletized freight to Northern California. You will operate day cabs and sleepers with dry vans ranging from 28' to 53', utilizing manual pallet jacks and lift gates. Trucks are 36 months or newer and supported by 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling at over 800 facilities nationwide.
As a Ryder driver, you are the captain of your vehicle, empowered to make safety decisions with job protection. The role involves solo deliveries with tailgate freight, requiring the ability to follow written and oral instructions while maintaining accurate records and logs. Ryder provides paid training on all necessary equipment to ensure your success.
