About the Role
Ryder is hiring a Class A CDL Truck Driver in Rancho Cordova, CA, for a local, home-daily position. This role is designed for drivers who want a stable career with a company that values safety and transparency. You will be part of a community of proud women and men in logistics, including Military Reservists and Veterans.
As a Company Driver, you will operate day cabs and sleepers with dry vans (28', 48', and 53') to deliver palletized freight via tailgate deliveries. You will work a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional Saturdays, starting at 7:30 AM dispatch. While you will be responsible for solo deliveries throughout Northern California, Ryder provides comprehensive support: trucks are 36 months or newer, include 24/7 roadside maintenance, and drivers fuel up at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide. Ryder will also train you on all necessary equipment, including manual pallet jacks and lift gates.
