With operations spanning North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske and its associates help businesses move forward by increasing visibility and driving down supply-chain costs.
When you join Penske, you join a team of professional truck drivers committed to delivering products safely and on time. We are proud to haul freight for some of the world's leading brands. While you may be driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms, you are representing both your clients and the Penske legacy of incredible customer service and relationship building.
As a Full-time Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. This role is designed for drivers who want to put their career in high gear with a stable, nationwide company known for having the best equipment, great management, clear communication, and a fantastic safety record.
You will drive late-model, Penske-maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort and safety. These vehicles feature inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to ensure the safety of all. Your day-to-day involves unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, as well as using scanners to track products as they are delivered.
The schedule typically runs from midnight to 6 AM, depending on the route selected. Drivers can expect to be away from home three days per week, with an average of three layovers weekly. Despite the schedule, you will be paid every Friday.
It's more than just driving; it's about fueling your career. Penske offers tons of training opportunities, and with locations across the nation, you have the flexibility to move to a new city if you choose. We are a company that values safety and professional growth, offering a Premier Driver Recognition Program and a safety incentive program to reward your performance.
To join the team, you must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, which includes a review of past employment, education, and criminal history, as well as a drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive, requiring the ability to work in a constant state of alertness.
Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background.
