Penske Logistics engineers state-of-the-art transportation, warehousing, and freight management solutions that deliver powerful business results for market-leading companies. With operations spanning North America, South America, Europe, and Asia, Penske helps businesses move forward by increasing visibility and driving down supply-chain costs. We are more than just the yellow trucks; we are a team of professional drivers committed to delivering products safely and on time for some of the world's leading brands.
As a Full-time Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will perform multi-stop deliveries of parts and supplies to automotive dealerships. This role is designed for drivers who want to represent both Penske and their clients, often driving branded trucks and wearing client uniforms. You will be responsible for unloading trailers using manual pallet jacks, hand trucks, and rolling cages, while scanning products to ensure accurate delivery.
You will drive late-model Penske-maintained trucks equipped with best-in-class specs for comfort and safety, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras. While dispatch times typically vary between midnight and 6 AM, this position offers the opportunity to be home daily for most driving roles. You can expect to be away from home 2 to 3 days per week, with 2 to 3 layovers, allowing you to build relationships with your accounts while on the move.
Joining Penske means becoming part of a stable, nationwide company known for having the best equipment, great management, clear communication, and a fantastic safety record. We pay every Friday and offer tons of training opportunities to help you put your career in high gear. With locations across the nation, you also have the flexibility to move to a new city as your career progresses.
To join our team, you must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, which includes past employment, education, and criminal history, as well as a drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive; therefore, the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
Penske is an Equal Opportunity Employer. We consider qualified applicants regardless of background, race, color, religion, gender, national origin, age, disability, or veteran status.
