About the Role
This position is designed for experienced CDL drivers who love the trucking life but are ready to transition off the road to train the next generation of drivers. You will serve as a driving instructor, utilizing your practical experience to teach basic, advanced, and specialized tractor-trailer operations. In this role, you will communicate instructions, assess student performance, and provide guidance on performing maneuvers both on the skills driving range and on public roads. You will work in 4 to 12 hour shifts, ensuring students master the principles of safe truck driving and all relevant interstate laws and regulations.
