About the Role
As a Full-time Local Class A CDL Truck Driver, you will join a team of professionals committed to delivering products safely and on time. You will drive late-model Penske Truck Leasing trucks equipped with best-in-class specs designed for comfort, including inward and outward-facing in-cab cameras to ensure safety. Your primary mission is to deliver produce items to local grocery stores, maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor when interacting with customers.
This role is designed for those seeking stability and work-life balance. You will enjoy a five-day work week with two consecutive days off, and for most driving positions, you are home daily. While dispatch occurs between 12 am and 5 am, the position offers a stable schedule with a clear path for career growth. You will be on the move with Penske, and so will your career; with locations across the nation, you have the opportunity to move to a new city. Hiring Process
To join our team, you must complete the Penske employment application and submit to a background investigation, which includes past employment, education, and criminal history, as well as a drug screening. This position is regulated by the Department of Transportation and designated as safety-sensitive; therefore, the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is required.
