About the Role
Ryder is hiring a Part-Time Class A CDL Truck Driver in Knoxville, TN, offering a driving career you can feel good about. This role is designed for drivers who value flexibility and community, providing an opportunity to join a team of proud women and men in logistics, including Military Reservists and Veterans.
As a Company Driver, you will operate a 36-month-or-newer Day Cab tractor with a 53' Dry Van trailer on local routes delivering auto parts to Alabama, Georgia, and Tennessee. You will drive solo, home daily, with a schedule that varies between AM and PM shifts. The freight is "no touch," and you will be the captain of your truck, making safety decisions while enjoying the support of 24/7 roadside maintenance and fueling at over 800 maintenance facilities nationwide.
