Isola is an industry leader in global materials sciences with a mission to improve life by enabling innovation in electronic products. We are seeking a Treater Operator for our Ridgeway, SC facility to join our production team.
This role is critical to maintaining our strategic focus on safety, quality, production, and on-time delivery metrics. As a Treater Operator, you will be a driving force behind plant initiative projects, operating equipment within strict quality boundaries to ensure the physical and cosmetic performance of treated materials. You will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with Area Leads, Maintenance, Engineering, and Quality Assurance to address equipment problems and product specifications.
The position requires a commitment to continuous improvement, utilizing Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and participating in ongoing training events. You will be responsible for managing chemical handling and disposal in compliance with internal and RCRA standards, while ensuring all operations meet National and International Standards such as ISO, EICC, and OSHA.
We offer competitive compensation of $22.25 per hour, with an additional $1.25 per hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd Shift roles. Candidates must be available for extended shift and weekend overtime work. Training is provided on the 1st Shift.

Key Responsibilities
- check_circleSet up and adjust the Treater per established parameters and specifications
- check_circleMaintain machine uptime and product yields during operations
- check_circleHandle and store chemicals properly including disposal per RCRA standards
- check_circlePerform SAP transactions and use Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
- check_circleMaintain cleanliness of assigned work areas and equipment
- check_circleAssist other operators to ensure timely shipment of product
- check_circleCommunicate with Area Lead and Maintenance regarding equipment problems
- check_circleConduct and document product tests including weight, viscosity, and volatile content
- check_circleAssist in Preventive Maintenance and cross-train in other areas
- check_circleMove varnishes and solvents between mix rooms and Treaters
- check_circleRecord all downtime, stoppage, and necessary paperwork
Requirements
