This position serves as the on-site leader responsible for supervising all construction activities to ensure safety, schedule adherence, quality standards, and budget compliance. The role exists to bridge the gap between project documentation and physical execution, ensuring that every phase of construction meets the rigorous requirements of the contract documents.
You will be the primary point of contact on the ground, coordinating sub-contractor work, managing equipment and manpower, and driving daily progress. The day-to-day involves reviewing complex drawings and specifications, identifying field issues with practical solutions, and maintaining detailed records of site activities, including labor, weather, and delays. You will lead regular "tool talk" meetings to align teams with project plans and enforce strict safety protocols, including accident prevention plans.
This is a dynamic, field-intensive role requiring a valid driver's license and a willingness to travel. The position may require working nights and weekends to meet project demands. Success in this role demands the ability to exercise discretion and judgment with minimal supervision while navigating a high-energy environment exposed to mechanical parts, varying weather conditions, and loud noise levels.
Work model: On-site
