Traveling Retail Merchandiser

SAS Retail Services is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Traveling Retail Merchandiser to join our team. In this role, you will be pivotal in executing merchandising strategies across various retail locations nationwide. You will help ensure that products appear in the right store, or on a website, at the appropriate time and in the correct quantities. This involves working closely with buying teams to accurately forecast trends, plan stock levels, and monitor performance.

As a Traveling Retail Merchandiser, your day will take you to various retail locations to conduct merchandise resets and ensure proper placement according to planograms. You will serve as the on-the-ground liaison between the company and store managers, collaborating to optimize merchandise presentation and customer satisfaction. Your responsibilities include installing and maintaining store fixtures, visual displays, and promotional materials, as well as performing product demonstrations to educate customers and drive sales when necessary.

Success in this role requires strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks while remaining flexible to frequent changes. You will maintain a high standard of field communication and coordination with regional management, reporting product replenishment needs and customer concerns in a timely manner. Proficiency in using handheld technology and applications, along with a basic understanding of planogram and store layout design, will be essential for daily operations.
