Traveling Retail Merchandiser

About the Role

SAS Retail Services is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Traveling Retail Merchandiser to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will execute merchandising strategies across various retail locations nationwide, ensuring products appear in the right store, on the appropriate website, at the correct time, and in the right quantities.

You will work closely with buying teams to forecast trends, plan stock levels, and monitor performance. Your day-to-day involves traveling to assigned locations to conduct merchandise resets, ensuring proper placement according to planograms. You will also install and maintain store fixtures, visual displays, and promotional materials, while performing product demonstrations to educate customers and drive sales when necessary.

Success in this position requires strong organizational and time management skills, the ability to manage multiple tasks while remaining flexible to frequent changes, and excellent communication abilities. You will collaborate with store managers and team members to optimize merchandise presentation and customer satisfaction, while maintaining high standards of field communication with regional management. Proficiency in handheld technology and a basic understanding of planogram and store layout design are essential.
