In this position, you will provide direct nursing care in a variety of hospital and clinical settings. Your day-to-day involves performing comprehensive patient assessments, administering medications and IV therapies safely, and documenting all aspects of care accurately in the electronic health record (EHR). Beyond clinical duties, you will educate patients and families on diagnoses and treatments, ensuring they have the tools for self-management. The role demands flexibility and professionalism as you navigate different facility cultures and participate in orientation and competency validation at each new assignment.
