About the Role

As a Traveling Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation of electrical systems within the commercial construction market at various job sites and small-to-medium project locations. This role involves the direct supervision and coordination of assigned helper and apprentice electricians on a per-job basis. You will serve as a key point of contact for customers, interacting with them to determine their needs and provide effective solutions while promoting excellent customer relations.

The position requires a high level of adaptability, as travel is a mandatory component of the role. You will troubleshoot common electrical systems, plan new or modified installations to minimize waste and ensure safety, and execute complex tasks such as splicing wires, installing control apparatus, and connecting power cables to equipment. Success in this role depends on your ability to work with hands, multi-task, and maintain a clean, safe, and clutter-free job site while adhering to national and local codes.
