About the Role
The primary responsibility of the X-Ray Tech is to obtain useful diagnostic details that help doctors decide on further treatment for patients. You will prepare patients for diagnostic imaging exams and produce x-ray films of parts of the human body for use in diagnosing medical problems such as cancer or fractures.
In this role, you will instruct patients to undergo appropriate positions to ensure accurate images and deliver quality, cost-effective patient care in a professional manner. You will work effectively to maintain an environment of excellence that is patient-focused, providing timely, compassionate care. Additionally, you will promote and maintain a safe work environment for both staff and customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives.
