About the Position
Cynet Health is seeking a dedicated Surgical Technician to join our team in Louisville, KY. This 13-week contract role is designed for professionals who thrive in dynamic, high-stakes environments. The position focuses on supporting the healthcare team during the intra-operative period, ensuring seamless patient care from neonate through geriatric populations.
In this role, you will be the surgeon's right hand, managing the preparation and handling of critical surgical instrumentation and equipment. Your day-to-day involves maintaining strict aseptic techniques, performing precise sponge and instrument counts, and adapting quickly to the evolving needs of surgical procedures. Success in this position requires the ability to prioritize tasks, problem-solve under pressure, and recognize the need for immediate response during urgent or emergency situations.
Hiring Process
Candidates must possess two years of Surgical Tech experience and hold current BLS and CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) certifications. The onboarding process includes completing a Pharmacology module, a Skills Checklist, and a Specialty Exam to ensure readiness for the specific demands of the role.
