Join our team as a travel Speech-Language Pathologist in Brooklyn, NY, at a skilled nursing facility. This role exists to provide essential skilled SLP services that support patient communication, cognition, and swallowing safety. You will evaluate and treat patients with communication and swallowing disorders, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to document treatment progress and drive improved functional outcomes and quality of life for residents.
Your day-to-day involves applying your clinical skills in a skilled nursing setting while experiencing the vibrant culture of Brooklyn. You will work a Monday through Friday schedule, typically from 08:30 to 16:30, delivering interventions that directly impact the lives of those in the facility.
Brooklyn offers diverse cultural districts and waterfront access with convenient transit connections. Within a short commute, you can explore Prospect Park and the Brooklyn Museum. Access to Manhattan is available via multiple subway lines with typical travel times under 30–40 minutes.
