Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct patient care on a 49-bed Cardiac/Medical Telemetry unit
- check_circleInterpret and sign telemetry strips at least once per shift
- check_circleOperate and monitor respiratory equipment including BiPAP and CPAP
- check_circleAdminister breathing treatments to patients with respiratory conditions
- check_circleParticipate in self-scheduling within a 4-week cycle including weekends
- check_circleManage set-rate drips including Diltiazem/Cardizem without titration
Requirements
- verifiedActive RN licensure in good standing
- verifiedCurrent BLS certification
- verifiedCurrent ACLS certification
- verifiedPass dysrhythmia exam with minimum score of 80% within two attempts
- verifiedAbility to interpret basic telemetry strips independently
- verifiedAvailability to work 2 weekends per 4-week schedule and designated holiday shifts
Nice to Have
Experience with Cerner EMR, prior experience with CVA, TIA, and total joint replacement patient populations, familiarity with PCU-level care.
