About the Role
This position is based at the UCHealth Anschutz Pavilion in Aurora, within a 36-bed Medical Acute Care (MAC) department. You will join a dynamic team providing top-of-scope practice in direct patient care on specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) units characterized by moderate to high patient acuity. The role prioritizes wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice, utilizing the nursing process to achieve exceptional outcomes.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to secure safety and quality at the point of care. The environment is fast-paced and innovative, welcoming new knowledge and offering opportunities to model proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare or UCHealth. AMSN's core curriculum and various specialty certification standards are integrated into the evidence-based care models for each unit.
