This position is based at the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, within the Acute Cardiology Medicine department. You will join a dynamic team providing top-of-scope practice in direct patient care within specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) Units characterized by moderate to high patient acuity. The role prioritizes wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice, utilizing the nursing process to achieve exceptional outcomes.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, modeling proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare and welcoming new knowledge in a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment. Your contributions will focus on securing safety and quality at the point of care, adhering to AMSN's core curriculum and various specialty certification standards.
This is a full-time opportunity working weekend days only, totaling 72 hours per pay period. The position is offered as a 13-week assignment with extension options available. The role includes a competitive pay rate of $50.00 per hour plus a travel package/stipend.
