About the Role

This position is based at the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, within the Acute Cardiology Medicine department. You will join a dynamic team providing top-of-scope practice in direct patient care within specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) Units characterized by moderate to high patient acuity. The role utilizes the nursing process to achieve exceptional outcomes through a multidisciplinary team approach.

In this fast-paced, innovative clinical environment, you will prioritize wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice. The role includes contributing to secure safety and quality at the point of care, while modeling proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare or UCHealth. You will welcome new knowledge and adhere to evidence-based care models, including AMSN's core curriculum and various specialty certification standards.

Work Schedule and Assignment

This is a full-time position requiring 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks). The role operates on a Day and Night Rotation. 13-week assignments are available with extension options.
