This position is located at the UCHealth Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, within the Acute Cardiology Medicine department. You will join a dynamic team providing top-of-scope practice in direct patient care within specialty Acute Care (Med-Surg) Units characterized by moderate to high patient acuity. The role prioritizes wellness, a patient perspective, and evidence-based practice, utilizing the nursing process to achieve exceptional outcomes through a multidisciplinary team approach.
In this fast-paced, innovative clinical environment, you will contribute to secure safety and quality at the point of care. The role involves modeling proficiency by precepting those new to healthcare and/or UCHealth, while welcoming new knowledge. Evidence-based care models for each unit incorporate AMSN's core curriculum and various specialty certification standards.
This is a full-time position requiring 72.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks). The role operates on a Day and Night Rotation. 13-week assignments are available with extension options.
