About the Role

This travel assignment offers a unique opportunity to deliver perioperative patient-centered care across the surgical continuum in Machias, Maine. Starting on July 6, 2026, you will work a 13-week contract on the days shift within a hospital Operating Room setting.

In this role, you will partner with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff to ensure safe, effective care for patients undergoing surgery. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include scrubbing, circulating, and assisting in the recovery room as needed. You will be expected to maintain patient- and family-centered care, protect confidentiality, and adhere strictly to sterile technique and infection prevention protocols. This position is ideal for a Registered Nurse looking to expand their experience in the surgical environment while enjoying the flexibility of travel healthcare.
