As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients across varied environments. This role exists to ensure continuity of exceptional care in facilities that need it most, allowing you to adapt quickly to new clinical settings, policies, and workflows while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. You will be the bridge between patient needs and comprehensive recovery, utilizing your expertise to improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function.
In this position, you will partner with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans and optimize discharge strategies. Your day-to-day involves evaluating patient conditions, developing evidence-based treatment plans, and educating patients and families on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques. You will navigate different facility cultures and regulatory landscapes, ensuring compliance with state practice acts and safety standards while managing your own travel logistics and schedule.
To join our team, candidates must be prepared to meet specific facility and state requirements, including passing a background check, drug screen, and immunization/health screenings. Once selected, you will coordinate assignment details and scheduling directly with our support staff to ensure a smooth transition to your new clinical environment.
