About the Role

As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will provide high-quality rehabilitative care in varied environments, adapting quickly to new policies and workflows while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. This role exists to bridge the gap in healthcare delivery, allowing you to positively impact patient outcomes in orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-surgical settings. You will be the driving force behind individualized treatment plans that improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function for patients from all walks of life.

Your Day-to-Day

Your journey will involve comprehensive patient evaluations to determine specific therapy needs, followed by the implementation of evidence-based interventions such as therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and gait training. You will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize discharge planning. A significant part of your day will be dedicated to educating patients and families on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques, ensuring long-term functional gains. Throughout your assignment, you will manage documentation within EMR systems and navigate travel logistics, ensuring compliance with state practice acts and facility safety standards.

Hiring Process

Candidates are expected to submit their credentials for review, including proof of an active, unrestricted state Physical Therapist license and a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree.
