As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients in varied environments nationwide. This role exists to bridge the gap in healthcare delivery by bringing expert clinical skills to facilities that need them most. You will serve as a vital member of the interdisciplinary care team, adapting quickly to new workflows and policies while maintaining the highest standards of care.
Your day will involve conducting comprehensive evaluations to determine therapy needs, developing evidence-based treatment plans to improve mobility and restore function, and collaborating closely with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care. Beyond clinical interventions, you will educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques, ensuring long-term functional gains. This position offers the unique opportunity to experience diverse clinical settings, from orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation to post-surgical and cardiopulmonary care, all while managing your own travel logistics and schedule.
To join our team, candidates must possess an active, unrestricted state Physical Therapist license in the assigned state(s) or be eligible to obtain one prior to the assignment start. The process includes verifying your Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, current BLS certification, and valid driver's license. Additionally, all candidates must successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and meet immunization and health requirements as dictated by facility and state regulations.
