As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients across a variety of clinical environments. This role exists to ensure continuity of exceptional care in facilities that need skilled support, allowing you to adapt quickly to new workflows while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. You will be the driving force behind individualized treatment plans, working alongside physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery and discharge planning.
Your day-to-day involves evaluating patient conditions through musculoskeletal, neurological, and functional assessments, then implementing evidence-based interventions to improve mobility and restore function. Beyond clinical duties, you will serve as an educator for patients and families, guiding them on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques. Success in this role requires the ability to navigate varying facility policies and regulations while maintaining open communication with Fusion Medical Staffing support staff regarding assignment details and scheduling.
To join our team, candidates must possess an active, unrestricted state Physical Therapist license in the assigned state(s) or be eligible to obtain one prior to the assignment start. The process includes verification of your Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, current BLS certification, and valid driver's license. Additionally, all candidates must successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and meet immunization and health requirements as dictated by facility and state regulations.
