As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients in varied environments nationwide. This role exists to ensure continuity of exceptional care by adapting quickly to new clinical settings, policies, and workflows. You will serve as a vital link in the interdisciplinary care team, collaborating with physicians, nurses, and support staff to coordinate and optimize patient care plans.
In this position, you will evaluate patient conditions, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions ranging from orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation to post-surgical care. Your day-to-day involves not only clinical expertise but also educating patients and families on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques. Success in this role requires maintaining high standards of professionalism and compliance with state practice acts and facility safety standards while managing travel logistics between assignments.
To join our team, candidates must possess an active, unrestricted state Physical Therapist license in the assigned state(s) or eligibility to obtain one prior to the assignment start. The application process includes verification of your Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, current BLS certification, and valid driver's license. All candidates must successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and immunization/health requirements as mandated by the specific facility and state regulations.
