About the Role
As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients in varied environments nationwide. This role exists to ensure continuity of exceptional care by adapting quickly to new clinical settings, policies, and workflows. You will serve as a vital link in the interdisciplinary care team, collaborating with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care plans and discharge strategies.
In this position, you will evaluate patient conditions, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions ranging from manual therapy to gait training. Your day-to-day involves not only clinical excellence but also educating patients and families on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques. You will navigate different facility guidelines while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism and compliance.
Hiring Process
To join our team, candidates must possess an active, unrestricted state Physical Therapist license in the assigned state(s) or eligibility to obtain one prior to the assignment start. The process includes verifying your Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, current BLS certification, and valid driver's license. Additionally, all candidates must successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and meet immunization and health requirements as dictated by facility and state regulations.
