As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients across a variety of environments. This role exists to ensure continuity of care in dynamic settings, requiring you to adapt quickly to new clinical policies and workflows while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. You will serve as a vital link in the care continuum, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient recovery and discharge planning.
Your day-to-day involves conducting comprehensive evaluations to determine therapy needs, developing evidence-based treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions ranging from manual therapy to gait training. Beyond clinical duties, you will educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques, ensuring functional gains are maintained long after the assignment ends. Success in this role requires a blend of clinical expertise and the adaptability to thrive in varied locations.
To join our team, candidates must meet specific licensure and certification requirements, including an active, unrestricted state Physical Therapist license, a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, and current BLS certification. The process includes verification of your credentials, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass background checks, drug screens, and immunization requirements as mandated by facility and state regulations.
