About the Role

As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients across varied environments. This role exists to ensure continuity of exceptional care in facilities that need it most, allowing you to adapt quickly to new clinical settings, policies, and workflows while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism. You will be the driving force behind individualized treatment plans that improve mobility, reduce pain, and restore function for patients in orthopedic, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-surgical rehabilitation.

In this position, you will collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and optimize discharge planning. Your day-to-day involves conducting comprehensive evaluations, delivering therapeutic interventions, and educating patients and families on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques. You will serve as a vital link between the patient's recovery journey and the facility's operational needs, ensuring accurate documentation and strict compliance with state practice acts and safety standards.

Hiring Process

To join our team, candidates must possess an active, unrestricted state Physical Therapist license in the assigned state(s) or eligibility to obtain one prior to the assignment start. The process includes verifying your Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, current BLS certification, and valid driver's license. Additionally, all candidates must successfully pass background checks, drug screens, and immunization/health requirements as mandated by facility and state regulations.
