As a Travel Physical Therapist, you will provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients in varied environments nationwide. This role exists to ensure continuity of exceptional care by adapting quickly to new clinical settings, policies, and workflows. You will serve as a vital link in the interdisciplinary care team, collaborating with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care plans and discharge strategies.
In this position, you will evaluate patient conditions to determine therapy needs, develop evidence-based treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions ranging from manual therapy to gait training. Beyond clinical duties, you will educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safe mobility techniques. Your adaptability and professionalism will be essential as you navigate different facilities, ensuring compliance with state practice acts and safety standards while maintaining the highest quality of service.
To join our team, candidates must possess an active, unrestricted state Physical Therapist license in the assigned state(s) or eligibility to obtain one prior to the assignment start. The selection process includes verification of your Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, current BLS certification, and a valid driver's license. Additionally, all candidates must successfully pass a background check, drug screen, and immunization/health requirements as mandated by the specific facility and state regulations.
