Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct patient care on a 35-bed Progressive Care Unit for adult and geriatric populations
- check_circleTitrate cardiac and neurological drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
- check_circleFloat to medical floors, ICU, or rehabilitation units as needed
- check_circleCommunicate effectively with interdisciplinary team members in a fast-paced environment
- check_circleComplete unit-specific orientation and pass a required competency exam with a 90% score
- check_circleMaintain nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:4–5 while collaborating with patient care techs
Requirements
- verifiedActive Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
- verifiedCurrent BLS certification
- verifiedCurrent ACLS certification
- verifiedNIHSS certification
- verifiedValid driver's license required at time of submittal
Nice to Have
Prior experience in a Progressive Care, Stepdown, or IMC setting. Experience titrating cardiac and neurological drips. Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to thrive in a high-acuity, fast-paced environment.
