Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct patient care on a 35-bed Progressive Care Unit for adult and geriatric populations
- check_circleTitrate cardiac and neurological drips including Cardizem, beta-blockers, and seizure medications
- check_circleFloat to medical floors, ICU, or rehabilitation units as needed
- check_circleParticipate in unit-specific orientation including onboarding and floor training
- check_circleMaintain patient ratios of 1:4–5 while collaborating with patient care techs
- check_circleApply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced clinical environment
Requirements
- verifiedActive Registered Nurse (RN) license
- verifiedCurrent BLS certification
- verifiedCurrent ACLS certification
- verifiedCurrent NIHSS certification
- verifiedValid driver's license required at time of submittal
Nice to Have
Prior experience in a Progressive Care, Stepdown, or IMC setting. Experience titrating cardiac and neurological drips. Familiarity with continuous EEG monitoring and stroke patient care.
