Key Responsibilities
- check_circlePerform scrub and circulating duties in a high-volume OR environment
- check_circleProvide direct 1:1 patient care across multiple surgical service lines
- check_circleOperate and assist with advanced surgical technology including Da Vinci robotic systems
- check_circleRespond to trauma cases within a Level I trauma center environment
- check_circleFloat across multiple campuses and participate in weekend call coverage
- check_circleDocument patient care accurately using EPIC electronic medical records
Requirements
- verifiedActive Iowa RN license or compact/multistate license
- verifiedMinimum 24 months current operating room experience
- verifiedCirculating/operating room experience required
- verifiedDemonstrated experience in General surgery, Da Vinci Robotics, Pediatrics, and Trauma cases
- verifiedTrauma Level II experience required
- verifiedEPIC EMR experience within previous 3 years
- verifiedCompleted at least one prior travel assignment within previous 15 months
- verifiedActive BLS certification through AHA or ARC
- verifiedValid Driver's License
Nice to Have
Scrub experience, Trauma Level I experience, additional surgical service line experience in neurology, orthopedics (primarily trauma), gynecology, urology, transplants, plastics, and ENT, professional reference from a charge nurse, supervisor, nurse manager, director, CNO, or COO within the past 24 months.
