Key Responsibilities
- check_circleProvide direct patient care on a 24-bed Oncology/Women's Surgical unit
- check_circleMaintain a patient ratio of 1:4 or 1:5 in collaboration with CNAs and charge nursing staff
- check_circleOperate standard unit equipment and document accurately within a Cerner EMR system
- check_circleAssist with or support procedures including thoracentesis, echocardiograms, and occasional pelvic exams
- check_circleCollaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, RNs, CNAs, and HUCs
- check_circleFloat to other med-surg units on a rare basis as needed and fulfill weekend shift requirements
Requirements
- verifiedActive Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- verifiedCurrent BLS certification
- verifiedMinimum 2 years of RN experience
- verifiedProficiency with Cerner EMR
Nice to Have
Chemotherapy (Chemo) Certification. Prior oncology or women's surgical nursing experience. Team-oriented approach with a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment.
