Alumni Healthcare Staffing is seeking a Medical Oncologist to join a dedicated team at a 228-bed hospital in Dubois, PA. This 6-month contract role (with extension potential) focuses on delivering comprehensive cancer care to a patient population of adults (18+). The position supports a high-volume clinic managing 12-15 patients daily, utilizing the Cerner EMR system.
In this role, you will collaborate with a robust support structure including a Director of Oncology, Infusion Services, and a team of 8 experienced Oncology RNs, Nurse Navigators, and clinical staff. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve managing new referrals for both oncology and hematology, diagnosing and staging cancer, and developing treatment plans that include chemotherapy and immunotherapy. While the clinic does not perform bone marrow biopsies internally, established referral pathways to Interventional Radiology ensure seamless patient care.
